he was catastrophic for a lot of the season for Norwich but he's another one who if Bruce could tune him in and he can find form, he's a really classy solid defender.
One bad season doesn't make him ****, and if he has been shocking that could drop his value enormously. If Brucey has been better at managing one part of the team it's been getting the best out of his defenders. Davies, Rosenior, McShane, his son, coffin dodging Faye... Only failure has been Figueroa and I suspect that it's down to Maynors own personal problems which Brucey couldn't do a thing about. A good shout with Bassong I reckon, I'd be happy if he was on Bruceys targets list.
Yes. Strangeways and Wormwood Scrubs are battling it out for his signature though. Dont see Campbell at all. But many of the rumoured players on SB list are on free/bosmans anyway. I expect some of the budget to get blown on Livermore for starters. Your having a laugh ? Bassong is another Zayette. Just ask Norwich fans. I would rather keep Faye than take Bassong. Been confirmed on Sky Sports that Liam Ridgewell, Zoltan Gera and Steven Reid all being released by WBA. I like Ridgewell, solid, experienced LB and decent bloke to have around by all accounts.
