how the hell can they give us them odds when all we have done so far is off load playes and got a few that want to leave and yet have made no signings so far!. i would have though up to to day i would expect around about 20/1
A few idiots on The football forum. net who think they have done their research on predicting where each team will finish, when most teams have half a squad & new signings yet to arrive. How can you predict where teams finish this time of the season? We are favourites because as I said earlier they underestimate Jim Bentley, but he won't be the only one managing the team. Stewart Drummond will be doing first team affairs along with the reserves his experience will be valuable. Ken McKenna is no mug as Jim Bentley's right hand man he brings experience from TNS who have qualified for europe over the years & played Liverpool after they won the champions league in 2005 in a preliminary round. He also brings experience from playing for league clubs such as Tranmere Rovers. At the moment rumour doing its rounds on shrimpsvoices that Chris Neal maybe signing for us, how true this is I don't know, maybe you could shed some light on this. I thought he was still in contract with you? Hope you get sorted soon with new players as it seems slow for a few clubs in league two at the moment.
i assume the betting is based on the last 3 or 5 years, in which case shrews must be a pacemaker, yet our current squad indicates mid table. the whole thing is a lottery. on which subject try 8,14.21,31,33 and 44.
Curtis we had on loan but didn't play a junior goalie, it might be that Neal is being moved on and we're signing the lad as back up. Neal is a good goalie but Smith has kept him out since Xmas.

Grimes was all based on rumours, people kept on saying he'd been seen in the Town but how many footballers from other clubs you might see twice a year would you recognise at a filling station?? Perhaps we almost signed him who knows only time might tell. Neal is a good goalie so should do a good job, he was at PNE and was on loan to you guys in 07 according to wiki but din't get a game.
Yes, Chris Neal came as an emergency loan from Preston in our conference play-off final in 2007. Jim should know all about him after playing you in league two, sounds like he would be another good signing. Heard Gary Mcdonald ex Latics midfielder who scored a screamer in the FA Cup against Everton is on the verge of signing, will have to wait & see on that one. Heard you signed Marvin Morgan today. In order Shrews, Rotherham , Crewe, Stanley, Port Vale, Swindon will be interesting i think either it will be automatic promotion or a complete roadcrash. Bradford have got to get it right one season or another. Surprise Barnet will be mid table and will end the season with the same manager the started.
