Not sure it will be sorted before the weekend, he said within a week, not by the end of the werk, so methinks Monday!!! The delay also makes me think Lennon, as we have to sort compo out before we can talk (officially), no such delay with Malky or Adams...
Not particularly groundbreaking I know (might have already been said in fact) but Malky has now definitely spoken to us.
i would guess neil lennon has had talks/is in talks judging by the heavy tilt in the betting market. he's now moved alongside malky as favourite to land the job. i spoke to henry winter the other day who said he didn't know but felt it would be between those two and so far, everything is pointing that way
Must admit, I really didn't think Lennon would come after we were relegated. I suppose it boils down to what Hateley said in his interview yesterday - no Premier League club will take a punt on Lennon because they see the SPL as Championship standard at best. He has to "move sideways to move forwards"
What about Hughton as director of football? He signed some good talented players, just had no idea how play them. Keep him away from the dressing room and all would be fine
