Irrelevant but someone has uploaded a photo of themselves with Mauricio outside a barbers this evening, in Southampton of course.

Someone else has uploaded a very grainy photo of him tucking into a steak, too.

Said it was from today - but it could be from anytime at staplewood or any other training ground to be fair.

Time to make an audacious bid for Fernando Torres, who will quickly revert to a 20+ goal a season striker when he's no longer forced to play 30 yards away from the nearest midfielder. Chelsea should be happy to swallow a 30 million loss, & we prove our ambition thus persuading Poch to stay.

I wouldn't mind Torres (yes, I know it won't happen)...he is a talented player who is looking for a team that suits him. We could suit him.

Well it's not really going to happen, and I doubt we could ever afford his wages. Maybe we can take him on loan, Lukaku style. But I do think he'd be a great fit for our style of play. He's wasted at Chelsea, he needs a manager who believes in him.

 

I agree with that...he'd fit and he is young enough to hit his peak again. Can we start a rumour in the media as I understand that destabilises players and means they definitely demand a transfer.

 

Mourinho likes Torres. I think he'll stay. If not, he'll probably go to someone like Valencia, or back to Atletico.
