Thought it had been for a while? Or was that the website? Not a surprise, just a bit more tedious bait from the God Allam.
This is all getting very tiresome and it's almost as if he is deliberately trying to erode any goodwill he has gained through his deep pockets. I honestly think in the coming season every single thing we see associated with the club - apart from the formal name in results and fixtures etc - will be changed. All references on the website, in the programme, all merch etc. He will do everything he can that is legal just to prove "nobody tells me how to run my own business". The 'fleeing a dictator thing' really is becoming the most delicious irony.
Maybe the fans could become dictators. That would be nice. Re eroding goodwill, I think the opposite, I think he's using the periods of goodwill as a blanket so people cause less fuss as there's bigger stuff to do like Hull City AFC playing the the FA cup final at Wembley tomorrow. And Hull City AFC will be competing in the Europa League as well next season, as well as a slightly less illustrious premier league campaign. All as Hull City.
Luckily for you all screeching hand wringers, we live in a capitalist democracy. Simply raise the money to buy the club and you can stop worrying your pretty little heads about every reference to tigers.
I think honestly the best way forward is to ignore Mr Allam's little outbursts. It's all just hot air anyway. Let him prattle on as he pleases and don't worry about it. He's a nutter.
Constructive, as usual. He's baiting us. Again. To be expected in the long run of course, he has thin skin and wants to have a pop back at the 'hooligans', but the day before the biggest game in the club's history is somewhat disappointing. Think that's all it is. Also, agree with BCC about the future. Many people predicted the Hull Tigers thing before it happened, and were shot down, only to be proved right in the end. It will happen, and it's to show his dominance whilst having a dig at the same time. It's very, very tiresome.
The club's official twitter page hasn't changed, but there's now another one with 10,600 followers - Hull City AFC @hulltigers
Thats been around ages its unofficial it tweets out paper stories, seriously take a chill pill n enjoy tomorrow
