Why am I getting hit left, right and centre today?? Cork-A-Hoop was at it earlier, along with Ciarrai! Is there a target on my forehead? Looking forward to seeing W again on the 24th and commiserating with him again on his choice of father! ;-)
What time are you getting to Hennessys mate? I want to get there first so that there's some food left!
Hennessys Kingsbury? Me and the boy will 'ave some of that!!!!! I am Irish on my mums postman's side!!!!
Boys ....I was born in Honeypot Lane Kingsbury (as was IsraelQPR) and I went to school in Kingsbury............. It is stop down line from Wembley...but I suppose that is OK...would need to leave about 2.00 to catch a train and then walk down to the stadium...it is not walkable! Was gonna suggest The Preston, in Preston Road...which is walkable...but obviously too late now....serves me right for going to work! Will have to confirm numbers when I can sort my tickets out though Now this is gonna be real odd
Ok Irish lads See you there Flying in to gatwick Will keep an eye on this board And meet you wherever you guys decide Can't wait Dublin dave
oh one more thing ! anyone staying over on saturday night ? or know of reasonable priced b&b ? needs to be somewhere wihin easy reach of liverpool street station for 11.30 ish am sunday morning would like some advice thanks
Dave, you could always look at b&b's near Stansted, would be cheaper than London and trains go from Liverpool Street until about midnight? And you'd be able to get a cheaper return train ticket as it would be the same day. Just did a quick search, you'd be looking at about £55 - £85.
Assuming one of my ticket sources comes through for me, I'll definately be there, from as early as I can possibly make it. It's a huge day and seriously not to be missed.... Hope to see you all there!
There will be four of us going, our train gets into Liverpool St at 11-45, so guess we'll be there around 12.30.
Lads bit of travel news for those travelling from Gatwick Airport..... A 1 day off peak travel card to include return train to Gatwick and London zones 1-6 costs £14.70 online or £16.50 if purchased at station. Those of us arriving around 9:00 can catch the 9:56 to London Victoria and then the Victoria Line to Green Park where we pick up the Jubilee Line to Kingsbury to get us there between 11:30 and 12:00. Unfortunately the Group Saver scheme does not operate on the Underground so we can not do the journey any cheaper......
Of course you can QL. Everybody is welcome. If anybody has any Adel DVD's, just make sure to bring them to the pub.
