Cheers Billy, you're a top poster as well mate, got time for you all day.

Cholesterol is usually the reason why people remove the yolks but it wouldn't make any difference to me, it's basically two things... I get a lot of fats from the other foods I eat such as salmon and avocado, I don't need the fats from the yolk, especially the barn-egg types, the other thing is because I order cheaper eggs (not free range) the yolks taste a bit off to me, I'm picky with stuff like that, so I ditch them.

It doesn't sound like nonsense but I tend not to get too technical with what I eat, as every person's body behaves differently and I just work with what works for me. Sometimes I can't resist a massive burger in town or a huge pan of pasta, I just forget about it after eating it and move on, some people wouldn't touch it, I couldn't be that disciplined.

As for how they're farmed, if I'm eating boiled eggs I can only use organic free range, I can't touch barn eggs, they make me gag. Same with battery chicken, which by the way isn't convenient it costs me a ****ing fortune to buy free range in bulk, I'd have a friggin Porsche if I stopped training!

I do, but on here 'nonsense' seems to be pointing out the usual suspects are again spouting ****e. You only need look at the other threads to see who's involved in most of the daft squabbles.

Anyway, you wanted to move on...so back to garlic and egg whites. <ok>

Cayenne's the daddy mate, stick it on everything as it's supposedly keeps your metabolic rate on it's toes but more to the point, I like spicy! 24 hour marinaded chicken legs, scored, skin off, in natural set yogurt and Cayenne pepper with Paprika, grilled. I have it about twice a week, I'm **** with coming up with new ideas so always eating the same thing!

Cheers Terry. I know what you mean about cutting yourself some slack with it all. I knew someone that actually calculated their mineral intake. It can all get far too obsessive, and I can't believe anyone can keep that up long term. It's got to be a whole lifestyle thing in my opinion.

I think in the same way we can't really get taller or shorter, most of us are stuck tweaking what we've got, and can only really make relatively subtle changes.

You get the extremes though. We used to have a lad at school that was tiny and got picked on a bit. Saw him after leaving school and I've no idea what he done, but I bet the bullies didn't bother him again.

Depends what drives you pal, my motivation is just that I love it, it's like a drug. I was bullied loads at school as well, I wouldn't hold owt against them, kids will be kids and it's only made me who I am today.

Those who compete are very precise mate, I've not got the time or the need for such things. Besides which I'd get lobbed out of my gym if I tried to 'bodybuild' or compete, my gym won't accomodate posers, there's a few lads in there who train MMA and everything revolves around them, classes, circuits, diet plans, lifting plans, I love it. Had my head caved in a few times mind, didn't particularly care for that but I lived!

You'd love it round my house fella, I have BBQ's twice a week all year round. I eat the same sort of stuff, with **** loads of Mediterranean veg through the summer. Just tastes better over an open flame smoked off a bit. Having one today, I've got a steak for a treat but usually it's chicken or turkey. I get the 4 pack of individual charcoal bags from Morrison's, works out about £1.25 per cook, well worth it just for the flavour. Way to go if your limited to what you can eat and want a bit more flavour.

And I get my Eggs super cheep and super fresh from the allotments close by.

    Barbie round Bri's gaff!

I love it mate, my barbecue is nowhere near any shelter though so I'd have damp chicken most days in Manchester! Looks like we've a decent one coming up this weekend though so I might get a day off the sweet potato and salmon!

My lass loves her gardening and she's got this big arbor thing for her potting area so just pull her potting table out and shove the BBQ under and it's sweet. :p

Ha ha! Nah if I was going to do that i'd rustle some ****ing chickens while I'm at it. Nah they've got an allotment shop, all year round seasonal veg to boot. Love it

That sounds ace, I reckon I might go scope out the local surroundings soon. Moving house at the minute, so might see what local resources I can tap into, see if anybody has got a few hens nearby! My mate had hens but he fed them his leftover chinkies and the eggs tasted like chow mein and hoisin sauce!

It's always much worse on the way out, the funny thing is it wasn't that hot going in! Honestly mate, it felt like somebody had taken a rusty hacksaw to my chocolate tea-towel holder and poured acid over the f**ker when they'd finished. I'd still have another though it was amazing food!

<laugh> Surprised they'd even lay on that diet <laugh> I'd love an allotment but there's at least a ten year waiting list round my way.

There's a couple of fellers get in our local who have allotments & I get my eggs off them.
Fresh as **** & completely free range, one lad sells duck eggs too, bit of an acquired taste I admit mind but they can lay some big bastards.
A bit like when I went for a **** this morning, **** me blue, nearly tore my bowels out.

He gave them all the regular stuff as well mind, they were lavished in luxury mate, total spoilt bastards. Then he'd have about 12 cans and feed them pizza and chinese leftovers.

I like the idea of growing my own food, as a back up for if the world economy falls over and I've got a bit of leverage to trade but on a day to day basis I don't think I've got time to maintain it. The Mrs wouldn't eat it anyhow, she'd say I was a mong and wasn't capable of growing anything safe to eat!

Looks a bit leathery to me, what part are ya supposed to eat? Supposedly you can eat lizards and geckos and that raw, I reckon I'd have passed as well, unless you put a bit of Southwest on it and cooked it to a Cinder.

I like duck eggs, the mrs won't eat them cos they don't wipe the **** off the shells though!
