    Just as on the pitch, he has improved markedly when interviews in a very short time. At 17, he sounded like he couldn't do up his shoe laces without help.

    The most memorable sportsman interview I've seen recently was Jonny Wilkinson, after a game against France. he spoke to the BBC girl, then turned round and spoke to a French channel, in French. And then we have footballers who can't even speak English properly, for ****s sake.

    Different social class. I was thinking how glad I was that soon he won't be ey-een, but now I realise that nin-een won't be much better. Even the interviewer said mumfs....unless he caught it off Luke. However, it's the sentiments expressed that matter. Good luck, Luke, and stay injury free....injuries must be a nightmare for players waiting to go to Brazil.
