    Just a quick update...

Two main changes being made to St. Mary's:

    - Undersoil heating finally going in
    - Floodlights being replaced with new state-of-the-art LED lighting

Now, if someone could just sort out the PA system...

It hasn't. But the Premier League have made it a requirement for all stadia to have undersoil heating.

I assume in the winter the ground hardens, the under soil heating may keep it softer - seems like a lot of money for a little thing, although I understand the pipes we already there for use.

The PA system isn't that bad, it's just that stupid bald idiot at half time, and pre-match that does my head in. Shame they are scrapping the half time relay, yet another summer departure from St Marys!

Hopefully they will find the buried Skate shirt when the pitch comes up?

Yes the internet, and the phone reception are appalling around the ground on match days.

And bring back the marching band. That's what made going to the Dell such an enjoyable experience on top of the great football!!! And besides, relays are so naff. Everybody does it!!

[QUOTE- Floodlights being replaced with new state-of-the-art LED lighting DTLW[/QUOTE]

I hope state-of-the-art LED lighting is better than some LED bulbs I bought last year which blinded you if you looked at them but didn't actually light anything up!

Yes I may as well sit out on the pitch when it rains. There are so many holes in the roof above my seat I have to put my hood up!

Have you tried complaining...it's the kind of fault that gets overlooked. Also to the person who says the PA is alright....can't hear a thing in the Kingsland. Ridiculous in a modern structure.

I need to strain my little ears to hear in Kingsland North. Either I'm deaf, or it's terrible. Probably both.

I sent an email about 3 weeks ago but no reply. I agree can't understand a thing that's said on the PA in the Kingsland.
