Will Pochettino stay or go?

If MP does quit, I will reserve judgement as to his reasons for leaving, when I see how much money the next manager spends on re-building/improving the team.

Everyone is quick to pour scorn on the board, yet MP may be asking for unrealistic levels of funding, in a deliberate attempt to make his position untenable, so that he is left we no option but to resign or be removed.
None of us know!

MP is no fool. For months he's been hiding behind the "What's the hurry to extend my contract, when I still have a year left of the old one?" comments. He's been in football long enough to know that contracts are generally renewed/extended fairly early.
He's been playing games, IMO, and biding his time to see what offers came his way.

 

Yeah, and giving a fan his seat in the dugout? The guy's a loose cannon.

As far as ex-Premier League managers go, I think Laudrup is the one I'd be most okay with. Out of the ones we could realistically get, anyway. It'd be interesting to see if Petrescu is any good. It'd be nice to have a manager who has played for us, albeit not for long.

Only 11 grand matched on him on Betfair, compared with over a million matched on Van Gaal to Utd. No sign of these 4 figure bets reported in the press. And Mauricio is also quoted in the next Arsenal manager market. I'd say the betting markets aren't really giving that much of a ringing signal yet.

if poch goes due to reduced prospects at this club, i don't think laudrup would be interested. he'd lost interest at swansea, saying that 8th was the limit for them and us. otherwise yeah.

 

Poch is a big fan of the europa league , as we all know . Spurs is surley the right job for him .
IMO he won't last until the new year . Seems a crazy decision if he goes for them .
