It was good but Not really. When we beat TWS 1-0 back in 2006 (John Parkin goal) for me was much better. imo.

As for Sam Ricketts glad he got another promotion but may well struggle back in the championship.

Agreed, I really rated Garcia. But those crosses Ricketts used to put in the box, just perfection. Folan didn't even have to break stride, plus he was the only forward Ricketts had to aim for. Great days.

I think the game v Oxford at the KC was pretty special. The start of their demise......

Edit - also the Tuesday night match v Swansea - Won by an Elliott header.

I think our first Premier League game against Fulham was brilliant too, I sit in south and we was all stood up for most the game! Was brilliant.

I doubt that, Wolves will do well this season in the Championship they were the best team in League 1 by a country mile, and Sam is well proven at Championship level as we all know better than anyone, he should be fine.

In some games yes. Sadly age is not doing him any favours anymore. Wolves may make the play-offs imo.

"Caleb Folan won't score a more crucial goal". Little did he know, 3 months later he would do just that.

Nice to see that most of the dickheads running on the pitch are wearing Fred Perry jumpers, baseball caps and trackkie bottoms.

I know! How dare they invade the pitch after essentially confirming our first ever game at Wembley and the biggest game in our history!

Nowt wrong with Fred Perry clothing. Besides, the tramps who go to football matches in baseball caps and tracky bottoms couldn't afford Fred Perry anyway.

I'm not downsizing the occasion, which was phenomenal, but most of them looked like they'd appear on the front page of the HDM next to the headline "10 years for aggrevated assault on an elderly woman", with a faded, police mugshot of their battered, unemployed face.

Apart from the fact Mexican waves is one of the things that only tossers indulge in, who would join in with something when their team is getting beaten? The sort of people who indulge in these things shouldn't be allowed in football grounds.
