Fair point, just the clubs he's being linked with are Villa, Wet Spam and Everton, none of whom will go near that level of wage.

Also, I see Glenn Whelan is set to be awarded a new 3 year contract at Stoke. Seriously, is he PL quality?!

 

Just seen that Kuszczak has been released by Brighton, worth a go as a backup keeper? He's made a few blunders towards the end of the season, but I think his overall game is good enough and he has Premier League experience. If not, Bobby Olejnik has just been transfer listed by Peterborough.

Also, Stephane Mbia, who's had a good loan spell at Sevilla (he played tonight in the final) is available on a free transfer.

 

I wouldnt mind Aron Jóhannsson from AZ. Wouldnt be a bad sub and would give something different to Sagbo in the sub department. I dont think there is much chance of us going for him. If he has a good world cup people will be in for him. I think a couple PL teams were interested in him during the last transfer window but after Altidore I think that scoring for AZ isnt going to be enough to get a bid.
