Is the amount of TV money we've received/will be receiving this season... please log in to view this image
We've got £6m (possibly £7.5m) from the FA cup. I'd argue they need more very decent players than us despite league standings. In my opinion were in the better position.
Who dictates the televised games? Surely man city should receive the largest amount for winning the thing?
Add to that £8-10m for the FAC run plus all other monies taken this season and the till has been red hot. Should more than cover what has been spent and leave a nice summer kitty for Steve Bruce.
btw.... Cardiff City go down with more than Man Utd got last season for winning the PL. This season was the first of the new bumper PL wonga train.
Where have you got that figure from? We apparently got £6m and most of it has already gone. I wouldn't have thought the till was red hot, but I'd be very surprised if we have made a loss this year and if we have it's because we didn't get any money for selling players.
It's about £6m in total, though it goes up another £1m if we win it. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/6m-FA-Cup-boost-Hull-City/story-20972184-detail/story.html
The £8-10m was an estimate done a while back based on the entire FAC run and all the monies taken. Live TV match fees - Winning Prize money etc. £8-10m was the total subject to what we get from the final in prize money and our share of the gate.
Ahh fair one, I was just going on what was reported. I assume the £8-10m figure is based on us winning it? Speaking of prize money, the Europa League could net us a fair bit if we do well. If we got through qualifying (if we had to), we'd get €290,000, then a base fee of €1.3m for getting into the group stages. The group stage wins are worth €200,000 each, while a draw still nets us €100,000. The winning team gets €5,000,000, which isn't to be sniffed at!
Could not agree more with you. AND by winning the europa league Hull City would get into the Champions League. More pressure on Brucies summer recruitement now. Lol.
