Keiran Westwood has left Coventry this afternoon after failing to agree a contract with them, great keeper, and is now free.

Pearson should look at signing him!

He's off to Sunderland, or if you believe the Leeds fans on this site, he's turning down Premier League football for Elland Road.

(But put it this way: he ain't coming here!)

They've been chasing him since the beginning of June, but Man United won't give them an answer. I think they might want to test him above League One, so a Championship club coming in for him might well get him.

Ajose is no better than Simpson, McLean and Fryatt. He'd be a pointless signing.

I saw on the RH sports reporters (Mike Dean?) twitter, that Utd told Scunny Ajose has 15 clubs interested in him. Also Leeds are in for Joe Murphy apparently.

Aside from the fact he's a better winger than Stewart you mean?

What are you basing that on? Stewart is the best winger at the club. I don't think Ajose is any better than him, he's only had experience in League 2 and if you have pace in that league you are bound to do well. I'm not knockinig the lad, I just can't see him being as good as Stewart, or Joyce would have reccommeneded him instead of CS.

Stewart was at Yeovil, and by all accounts he was a bit **** there, so this Ajose cat could be even better. So the only thing we could really base it on, would suggest he's better.

If he signs for us he's awesome, if he doesn't he's ****. Think that covers all bases.

Oh come on, are you seriously suggesting our fans don't act like that too? All clubs have these type of fans.

I'm basing that on seeing the two of them playing in the same game last summer. Stewart didn't stand out in the side, Ajose looked about 3 levels above anyone else in the Man U team. Other players in their side that game included Olly Gill (reserves POTY), Dudgeon (shortlisted for reserves POTY and obviously our player now), Chester, Ravel Morrison, Norwood, Josh King, Eikrem (did he go to Burnley on loan?), Keane, and Possebon.

Joyce's recommendation will be as much to do with the fact Stewart wasn't playing at Yeovil whilst Ajose was gaining experiance on his loan and wanting to see both players playing regularly. Us signing Ajose wouldn't have given them that.

Cameron Stewart wasn't sh*t at Yeovil, he just never fitted in and after just a month asked to be able to return to Man U.

Certainly did the business for us last season and was sadly missed in our run in particularly at home once he got injured.

As for Westwood - made a howler for one of DQR's goals on Sky towards the end of the season as I recall. Will only be back up at SoL.

I do actually agree with you here, Everybody was slating Stewart when he signed, said humf couldnt even get in Yeovils team, errrrmmm now look at him. And the guy who said hes no better than Fryatt, Simpson or Mclean what a load of balls, for a start Fryatts far ahead of mclean and simpson in terms of ability, and dont tell me you watch Ajose every week, tell you what bud head over to Red Cafe and have a nosey on the Reserve/youth forum they actually think Ajose is quite promising.

And while im mocking peoples opinions, did somebody really just state that Scunny will hold more sway than us for Ajose :emoticon-0116-evilg crikey. OLM has it spot on, if you look at fergies loan system, he starts them off in the lower leagues than moves them up a league per season, so it'l be championship level for Ajose this season and i think with our relationship with United at the moment we will sign Ajose on loan to play left wing.

He might be promising but right now, he's not any better than what we've got. Perhaps we'd take him if we were going to play out and out wingers but if it's 4-3-3, then I can't see it. He's not close to Fraizer Campbell in terms of ability, not right now so why would we want him? There's a reason Championship clubs aren't banging his door down. I'm sure half of League One would love him.

    You've contradicted yourself there.
