    For both of the North Easts Premier League teams, this close season and who is in (not so much who is out) in very important. Newcastle's 2nd half of the season's performance is relegation class. Sunderland's up and down season was only rescued by beating top 4 teams away (with the exception of Newcastle of course, thanks for the 6 points they were needed).

    Will Ashley provide cash for players???

    Will Short dig deep once more..we need a quality CB, attacking midfielder and a striker?

    At the start of the season who will have a warm glow, or will it be yet another false dawn
