You've given your car a name? Really? Is this normal? Am I the only one who's car is nameless? The top two questions are basically the same but I would like these questions answering, I need to know.
My girlfriend suggested giving it a name, I suggested if it's going to be called something it's going to be Curtis or Tom (but I'm already called Tom) so we went with Curtis It's not normal, but neither am I
Is it a bird thing? I've got a name lined up but I'm not sure whether to go ahead with this or not? Actually it's ridiculous giving your motor a name. My car shall remain nameless.
I was wholly against it until she was ok with it being named after a city player. I do suspect there's some motive behind it all
Women tend to give cars a mans name so that it's not obvious when they blurt out their lovers name during sex. I thought everyone knew that?
I tried to reply last night but for some reason it wouldn't let me...I'll try again.....personally, I think Caulker is overrated. He just seems 'lightweight' to me....goes missing and leaves huge gaps in the centre of defence. In fairness to him, he isn't playing with a good team or with good players but as club captain, there is no way that he's a natural leader. From what I saw of Davies at our ground (only seen highlights on MOTD concerning other games so can't judge on that)...he's solid and commands the area. He seemed to clear and head away everything that came into the box. He was solid and had a strong presence about him...all the things you want in a CB.
I think there's the motive I was mentioning. Knew I shouldn't take her to City matches she obviously had her eye for Davies
My car is called Eugene. Used to belong to my brother, he named him, and it's partly to do with the letters in the reg plate being appropriate for Eugene, and generally the fact he looks like one (his face, for example). It's wholly correct to name your car and I expect a spate of naming to take place now that I've stated my position on the matter. Don't think, just do. That's my motto.
My sister had a yellow Fiat 126 when she first passed her test. She called it friggin Fee Fee I always did think she has rug munching tendencies
