What about Big Sam, would you have him at NCFC?, I think he's done a good job at West Ham considering, could imagine him getting us promoted out of the Championship.
Who ever the next manager is, they will basically have the pen ready to sign. I'm starting to think it will be either malky or Zola... Out of those 2 it has to be malky all day long.
I think Malkey is nailed on as the one to join Norwich myself....Its probably already done behind closed doors.....Not a bad choice imo...
bit surprised spurs aren't in for poyet but they seem to have their sights on pochettino. i sincerely hope saints aren't about to hit the proverbial wall - manager leave and key players too. i'd like to see them build on this season. as for us, my friend went to the awards dinner last night and seemed to get the impression we'd appoint neil adams with a director of football above him. not sure how reliable he is as he was drunk but i certainly hope he's got the wrong end of the stick!
Wouldn't the appointment of Adams be a bit quicker though?, could be drawn out contract talks I suppose but I would imagine that we would have heard sooner if it's Adams.
i would have thought so but you'd like to think they are approaching their shortlist! i wasn't there last night so i don't know how my friend reached his conclusion but like i've said before, i don't think adams will get it and i don't think he should - i still think it'll be malky mackay but its all guess work at the moment - neil lennon does intrigue me but i just can't see him coming here now. i think he'd have been here in a shot if we'd stayed up
I would agree with you and I always thought Lennon would be out of the picture if we were relegated. The Daily Mail are quoting him as saying this though: "There’s going to be a bit of to-ing and fro-ing over the next few weeks. When I’m asked I say I am pretty happy where I am. I’m pretty stable. There has been no offer, there has been no concrete phonecall or anything like that, so I haven’t really had a decision to make on it." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Celtic-boss-wants-Canaries-approach-him.html It's not clear when he said it, or the context, and I am loath to trust the Daily Mail as far as I can throw Murdock, but it does suggest he's not ruled us out completely.
I think theres is actually quite a lot of meaning in those two points, basically he's saying he's not been offered the job not that he hasn't spoken to the club about it. The would roughly fit within time frames those quotes are actually two days old now if were looking to announce friday say I would imagine today would be the day that the formal offer was extended. There's a bit of a ground swell around Lennon in the papers today with both the Mirror and the Mail reporting that he would be interested and the Sun having reported it a few days ago.
Anyone in the Job-cente list on the Sack Race that we haven't thought about yet? http://www.thesackrace.com/job-centre The Dennis Bergkamp to Norwich rumour hasn't been mentioned much!!
Really good points raised - I would quite like to see NL be our next manager. Agree with your comment re him working with a DoF.
