Why turn it into political points scoring! There are plenty of Labour crooks too and some have actually done time!
Following on from the thread re Lennon - I've a hunch he could see it as a way of getting on to manage a club in the EPL. I can't see any of the established clubs wanting him - WBA are probably going to opt for Malky and Spurs Benitez.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27389072 Tim Sherwood sacked. Where will he end up? Also heard about Man U releasing Chris Woods and Phil Neville.
Latest odds Still Malky odds on at 1/2 Lennon 5/2 Adams 5/1 Sherwood 8/1 http://www.thesackrace.com/teams/norwich-city Incidentally, Malky is also favourite to be WBA's next manager but at 4/1.
Given the media speculation about him coming to NCFC Lennon has been awfully quiet on the matter, I hope he's going to be our next manager but I think it'll be Malky myself.
Hopefully it is tied up with contractual negotiations and clauses relating to various possibilities and a public discussion may negate that process.
Lennon would be very interesting. I can't see a premier league club taking a punt on him. Him and McNally know each other as well and are friends so this may grease the wheels a little. We may be what he is looking for a Championship club with some parachute payments to spend on new players. The only thing is I'm not sure he would work well with a Director of football.
As regards to Lennon, WBA may consider him a risk as he's never managed in the PL and they would want someone with PL experience. Are Brighton in a less favourable financial position than ourselves?
Seems to be some kind of speculation in the media that Poyet might be leaving Sunderland, anyone like him at NCFC?, Big Sam looks like he might get the chop, another contender.
Poyet is nailed on favourite for West Ham, no chance of him coming here. Thankfully, don't like the guy personally
