I missed that thread on the OS forum. The 1st I heard about the OS forum us on here. I then thought it was a wind up so I checked and to my shock and horror it was gone! Are they tempted to bring Roberts out of retirement? Surely with his injury he could do a job at this level? Is it Cureton who has issued a come and get me to Rovers? Clarke already said no as too old but maybe Higgs wants him to please the fans?? Cant be Elliott as he has now signed a new deal at Cheltenham. Hope its not Ellington! You got me thinking now! Is it Lambert?? Please say yes

I'm definitely going to FGR - it's 15 minutes drive from my front door. I'll probably go to Hereford and Kiddy too.

some of our fans do have a bit of a sense of humour. i remember the days of dennis rolf and malcolm allison. we got relegated that season and we lost i think it was 5-1 away at wolves and 5-0 or 5-1 at home at twerton vs barnsley i think it was. i was at the wolves game and we went 1-0 down the saunders scored to make it 1-1 and then got hammered but the away end was in the same stand at the home end i had a right laugh. i was just a kid but the banter between both sets of fans was great looking back at it now. the wolves fans was singing irene with us and we were singing 'we want 5, we want 6' when we were 4-1 down and still singing it when they banged in their 5th goal. we were quiet for about 10 seconds then the song continued into 'we want 6, we want 6'. i couldnt help but laugh and the wolves fans applauded us for it. same thing happened at home vs barnsley. also there is a much older steward who comes out in front of the blackthorn end near the end of the game who did have long grey hair. the blackthorn end burst into song calling him jimmy saville. i felt so sorry for him but me and the person i was with were both in tears with laughter. i think our fans need to get behind the team and in numbers both home and away and also keep the laughs coming too to keep our spirits up. that will create a better atmosphere too. a lot of the away grounds dont even have segregation and allows the away fans to go where they want so we could take over a fair few grounds. so grounds the home fans at half time likes to changes ends too. that will be weird seeing that happen. wonder if our fans will move out the way to let them be at our end
