    You have to laugh at Hodgson. Hours after picking his team he's bleating on about making a mistake over Ashley Cole. If Baines gets injured we could suffer he reckons. May I remind him that Luke Shaw has played all season, with distinction, against some of the best players in the world. He also looked good when making his debut for England, whereas Cole can hardly get a game for Chelsea.
    Luke Shaw may be only 18 but he's the future , not the past. Courage of your convictions Mr Hodgson.

    Think that's unfair. He has been brave enough to pick young and exciting players rather than sticking with the Carrick's and Coles of this world.

    He also has far more international managerial experience than any Englishman since Sir Bobby, making him a fairly understandable choice (especially if the alternative was 'arry the dog bunger)
