That Andros was a cool boss in Starfox though!

He also would make a better pundit than some chosen. His sheer hostility and hatred for all living beings would be refreshing rather than the biased, bitter and cliche fare likely to be on show.

Haha, that brings back memories. I think with Roy Keane on the panel though, they've already got hostility and hatred for all living beings covered ;)

Dani Osvaldo not named in Italy's 30-man World Cup squad.

Mario Balotelli, Antonio Cassano, Alessio Cerci, Mattia Destro, Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne and Giuseppe Rossi are the chosen strikers.

Surprised to see Cassano in there, but it's difficult to really argue for his inclusion against that lot. I'd probably have Berardi in there before him as well.

Italian manager worked with Cassano so he picked what he knew.

He's been out of the Italy picture for a while though hasn't he?

Our player representation of five is currently in the top 20 for any club. Others on five include Porto and Tottenham as well as perhaps less well known sides América, Saprissa and Persepolis (I had to look that one up - it is a Tehran club)!

Also didn't realise the Honduran coach was called Luis Suarez!

I count six, not including Schneiderlin (the three England players, Lovren, Yoshida and Ramirez). Am I including someone in a squad that hasn't been announced yet or something?

Yes. Fonte's not in it, if that's what you're wondering.

It seems to be like the ones in Spain that are a sports club playing in multiple different events, like Barcelona but I know nothing about Iranian clubs. Heard of Saprissa though :).

Belgium taking four keepers, while leaving Radja Nainggolan at home is interesting.

That's madness. Radja should be starting.

Considering many of the clubs in europe like AC Milan and Genoa were originally cricket clubs setup by the English in those countries it doesn't surprise me further afield may well still carry on the tradition of playing many sports.
