I believe on Friday...I will be fully eligible to get two tickets to Wembley...I am a member and got two tickets to playoffs no prob...but I would like three together for Wembley....How can I do this please...if a season ticket holder can get me three am happy to swap for two ( Plus money obviously) ...any other suggestions please ...
As I understand it Beth, you can only get ONE ticket for each membership on Friday and then a further ONE for each membership on Saturday. Have I got that right anyone?
Tickets will go on sale in the following priority order: On-sale Phase 1: Season Ticket Holders Only Dates: 10am Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th May Purchase Limit: 2 per Season Ticket Holder (8 tickets per transaction) Availability is guaranteed during this phase On-sale Phase 2: Members’ First Ticket Dates: 10am Friday 16th May Purchase Limit: 1 per Member (8 tickets per transaction) Availability is guaranteed during this phase On-sale Phase 3: Members’ Second Ticket Dates: 10am Saturday 17th May Purchase Limit: 1 per Member (8 tickets per transaction) Tickets are subject to availability during this phase On-sale Phase 4: Season Ticket Holders & Members Dates: 10am Sunday 18th & Monday 19th May Purchase Limit: 2 per Season Ticket Holder or Member (8 tickets per transaction) Tickets are subject to availability during this phase Should any tickets be remaining after 19th May, further on-sale details will be announced. Do you have two memberships Beth? I think you are only eligible for 1 ticket on Friday. Speak to the box office. There may be a way they can confirm your ticket, hold it in some way and then add to it later. Edit: I've just emailed them to ask if this will be possible.
Can't quite believe they've done it this way. I've e mailed the club to let them know how stupid it is.
I'm sure there is a way to link memberships when buying online. Though that doesn't help if you are trying to buy for non members. I'd call the box office.
I will try the same.Col....what do they mean by maximum of 8 tickets per transaction I assumed that for four season tickets (with two each) that would be 8... That is what I was looking for.... I will email the club too
You can get three tickets no problem but there's a good chance you will be in 3 separate places, we have exactly the same problem with 3 of us going. Its incredibly stupid. There's 19k STH and members and 37.5 k tickets so they could just have allowed 2 per person right away.
Beth, it's just struck me, I won't be able to use my ticket, if we coordinate things we should be able to sort something. I'll PM you.
Wow that would be great....I have emailed the club, voicing my concerns, and will phone tomorrow too....they have not entirely thought this through...and may yet have a chance to change things But thanks Stan (as well as money...there will be a program, some beer and eternal love for ever in this for you)
Hopefully there will be a way for them to link bookings, so that when they come to allocate seat numbers, people can be in the groups that they want. We are having a conundrum of how to try and get everyone together.
The way I read it, if up to 8 members want to sit together, then they can? Of course if a member wants to sit with a non-member then they might have to wait until they, hopefully, go on general sale. Unfortunately I'm not a member or season ticket holder this year but to be fair, it would annoy me if another non-member got an opportunity to go just because they know a member. That non-member might have no real interest in the club and just fancies a day out at Wembley. (Beth I have no doubt this isn't the case with you). Season Ticket holders are being rewarded and rightly so, members are also getting the chance to get tickets before anyone else and again thats right. Its not ideal but probably the fairest way the club could do it. Stan, are you not going???!!? If not, please let me know if I can use your ST application for Sundays release of tickets. Those of you wondering about where to sit, having been to the new Wembley dozens of times, I honestly think the best views are from the back end of the lower section and first few rows of the upper section.
If there is no way round the 'seats together' problem, do you think people will just end up sitting where-ever? Naturally people want to be together with their friends and family on such an occasion.
That's the only thing I can think of, they allocate seat numbers after all tickets have been sold. Won't do the atmosphere much good if everyone is sitting by themselves!
I can't go mate, traveling back from work and in the air during the game. Refusing to do this particular trip would be the same as resigning, which I can't afford to do, but I always knew there was this chance of a clash. I don't have an ST, just membership....I'm on a promise to Beth, if that turns out to be unnecessary I'll PM you.
The logical thing to do would be to not send out tickets until the additional tickets are booked and then people can change then guaranteed ticket to sit near their mate.
