even my wife laughed at me when she found out we were relegated!

I had the usual "its only football" feel like killing people whenever someone says that

 

My wife knows full well not to say 'it's only footy' after a Gas relegation. She tried it once and we almost got divorced!

I got pissed on Sat night, had a hangover and had to look after the boys on Sun, so it was only today when it really sunk in. Probably more angry now than anything else. Thankfully there's no Teds at work.
