Whilst Pulis would have been my choice I wouldnt go this far, he did drag a mid table team to second place in the league...narrowly missing out on the title on the final day.
Rodgers isn't a bad choice- if you look around him- Pellegrini and Mourinho had much better squads and Rodgers was right in their midst. Pellegrini wouldn't deserve the title- not with the resources at his disposal- there is no way Rodgers should have been within 3 points of City going into the last game. Poyet would have been an excellent choice for completely reversing the fortunes of Sunderland against some of the toughest clubs in the league. Pulis deserves an honorable mention... but really... manager of the year award should have gone to David Moyes. He brought more smiles to people in Britain than any other manager- issued in a feeling of happiness to the entire nation.
****ing hell If I didn't know better, I'd think you were actually concurring with me here. That's a first, and last, I would imagine
