As you said, Koscielny should start, seeing as he's France's best CB by a mile.
Sagna should start for France, seeing as he's better than their other RB Debuchy.
Mertesacker has been on great form this year, so he should be close if not in Germany's starting XI.
Ozil is getting back to his best and usually has stormers for Germany, so he should start.
Park might start for South Korea. I believe he is still out player.
Vermaelen might start alongside Kompany for Belgium if he impresses in training.
Podolski has over 100 caps for Germany, so I'd be surprised if he didn't start at least 1 match.

Other players close to the first team:
Monreal is Spain's 2nd choice LB, so any injuries and he's in.
Chamberlain could play a role from the bench with his pace.
Giroud is usually France's 2nd choice CF behind Benzema.

Is that enough interest in the World cup for you?

Good enough I guess, would have liked a few more.

I don't care how Park or Sagna get on though

Cazorla might play off the bench once or twice as well.

Looks to me like Monreal did not make the Spanish team.

Joel Campbell is in the Costa Rica Squad and should start.

I think there is a pretty good chance that Serge Aurier could be an Arsenal player before the first game kicks off in Brazil.

Only saw the news about Monreal later. Shame really. Spain currently have 3 RBs and 1 LB in their squad. Then again, Nachos hardly lit the premier league alight.

Forgot about Joel Campbell, seeing as he's never played for us.

Aurier will be competing with Debuchy and Sagna. I don't know who France usually picks.

Don't know why Benfica even bother turning up, they can't win until the curse wears off <rose>

AFAIK he's still only in the 30-man provisional squad, and based on the competition on that list (most on better form than Cazorla) there's a real chance he won't make it.

If we signed Moyes and Van Gaal as players it is obvious where we are going wrong :emoticon-0104-surpr

I don't know about that, maybe these two could replace Vidic and Ferdinand ?

Really don't mind which of Derby or QPR get promoted, will be nice to be able to watch the game 100% neutral

Although I'd like to see Derby given a chance to beat their record <whistle>

Would like Derby. QPR have broken the football league financial fair play rules. If they really wanted rules like that to stick then they should have set in place that if it was broken by a certain amount, the team could not be promoted.

I hope Derby get promoted because they finished third and I believe the top three teams should be promoted.I'm not and have never been a fan of the playoffs. You should be promoted on merit and not on some end of season lottery that is only there as a money making exercise,

My mate Alex Wade who writes for the Guardian is a massive QPR fan, he's up there at Wembley today so it will be a good day out if they win. Also 'Arry is good value for a laugh so I'd like to see him back in the prem

You can't deny it also allows the lower league players their day in the sun in a truly huge fixture + brings interest to the lower leagues from elsewhere?

Don't really care who gets promoted either way. For Derby it is a chance to improve on their horrendous last showing in the prem. Don't like QPR one bit.
