Make of this what you will. Not claiming to be ITK, just passing on information.

A very close friend of mine works with someone who is going on Lallana's stag do to Miami. He showed him some texts today between himself and Lallana. He told him how the FA pay for 4 family members to go to brazil, accommodation, tickets the lot. He's not going on his own stag do to Miami which is this week due to the call up, but he said the deal is done for him to Liverpool.

How did that go? "I might want to leave, I'm not sure"; "Take your time Adam, we'll wait..."

Oh yeah? Well my brother's best friend's sister is Lallana's grandmother's carer and she apparently said he's a very naughty boy.

True but Carroll just didn't work with their style of play. Carroll is the most over priced player they sign, were as Aspas is not even a player.

Typical response. Again, not claiming to be ITK, but I know for a fact this person is going on Lallana's stag do and has his number. I do not necessarily believe it myself as I have not seen the texts, but as I said a very close friend of mine works with him.

I can't say everything I am told. Some stuff could lead to person I chat to risking their job too much.

Sorry to be flippant, but I have no way to know if you're telling the truth, and no way to know if your friend is, and no way to know if his friend is. I'm not saying you're on the wind-up but that's a fairly long chain of chinese whispers there. Fair enough if you want to share that information but no-one with any sense is going to pay it any regard.

Liverpool have definitely made an initial £20m bid. Thats not up for debate. This from the Liverpool Echo which is LFC's mouth-piece as has a direct line to Ian Ayre. If they say we've made an opening £20m bid & Lallana is LFC's top target this Summer then I can assure you that it is true:

Don't think people are denying a bid has been made. It's the whole fee and players contract was agreed ages ago stuff.

Sorry but it is up for debate. Just because Liverpool say something doesn't make it true, and that's the only source for that figure. I've no doubt they've asked about him but the reports of a formal offer are rather vague at best.

That article is also full of factual inaccuracies about our financial situation, so you'll excuse me if I take it with a pinch of salt.

You're genuinely the most rose-tinted spectacles wearing, biased and deludedly naive person I have ever come across ever on this site.

What you are saying now is EXACTLY what Swans fans said about Allen after their good first season. Literally word for word. And guess what happened? They were literally in the middle of typing up utter nonsense like "Liverpool aren't even that much better than us if you take out every top top player they have were not fr behind blah blah" when up pops Joe Allen on the screen sat in the directors box at Anfield watch a UEFA Cup game. They were put well and truly in their place.

Since you've posted utter tripe about how good LFC are let me put our side of the argument over.

Liverpool second biggest team in the country with the second biggest global following behind Utd. We are still the most successful team in Britain's history with 41 major honours to Utd's 39.

We play the best football in the league and we have the best 'up and coming' Manager in the league who has just won the LMA Manager of the Year for the first time in LFC's history, and has a reputation for trusting English/young players more than most other top managers at the top clubs. All that matters to players massively, especially the Manager as you've seen with Pochettino.

Next season we play in the CL and depending on the draw - which can go either way as we could end up with an easy group or a group of death. depends on the luck of the draw - will prob get to at least the last 1 with Anfield being such a fortress now. Players want to play in the CL so this is a HUGE attraction - one that Lallana will want. He's NEVER going to play in the CL with Saints. Thats just an unfortunate fact in less you get a Sheik or a Roman.

We have used a squad this season of practically 14 players due to our lack of depth. Despite this we unexpectedly fought for the league title all the way to the last day. Players again notice this and it attracts them. We will be even better next season too. We have some of the best young English players in the League and the heart of the England team who have the experience of a title race now and another years worth of improvement. Suarez has said he's staying too, so if we sign right players this summer its scary what we could achieve. We'll defo be top 4. Utd with anew Manager and a load of new players like Spurs this season won't finish above us, and Everton and Spurs certainly won't. We could even be in the title race again.

We would triple Lallana's wages and offer him all kinds of incentives like we did with Suarez and Sturridge. If he, like they did, hits these targets his wages could eventually rise to £200,000pw like Suarez's new contract he's just signed. Thats down to Lallana though.

There is a MUCH better chance he'll win trophies with us than he will with you. With a bigger squad next season, and a kinded draw, we could really be in with a chance for one of the cups and possibly even the league if we buy right.

Whether you can accept it or not, LFC are a much bigger club and have a much better team than Southampton. Thats just the fact of the matter, and its very likely that most of your players would jump at the chance to sign for us. Don't be angry or wound up about it, its the truth. Its not up for debate. Liverpool are much higher up the football hierarchy than Saints, so therefore will be able to attract their best players, just as Madrid are higher up than us and can attract our best players if they want to go there. I don't bitch about that though, even though it angers me, as its just a fact of football life and I, like you, just have to accept thats the way it is and always has been.

Couldn't be arsed reading that rant. I'm still dismissing it as bollocks though.

He's actually not; there are more rose tinted people on here.

But to save all the other stuff you have written, I will just tell you that a lot of people on here (PTF included as you are replying to him) will not accept the possibility this may happen. They will only use the facts offered to date and they don't include a statement anywhere from the club or Lallana saying "I'm thinking of leaving to better my career." They have a point, because it can be argued that way too, but I just don't believe that myself.

Unfortunately I am one who thinks it is looking more likely. I only hope I am wrong and the way that may happen is if our Board announce that our manager is staying and that he has a fairly decent sized transfer kitty (or one that meets his targets) and they have shown the manager they have the same ambition as him.

If you're going to speak for me you should probably represent my views correctly - of course I accept the possibility, as you should know having discussed this with me (and I've said so many times now), I just don't think it is the most likely outcome.

We disagree, clearly, but don't characterise my position as extreme when it really isn't.

Can't argue with most of that, but you really reckon Liverpool will at least win the Champions League next season?!
