One of the reasons that Poch was carefully selected for the Saints' Manager position, was because of his reputation for developing young talent from within the club and moulding them into his style of play. He probably has the best crop of up and coming players in the country at his disposal and possibly one of the most secure jobs in the Premiership. The team here is an ongoing project and if he wants to enhance his reputation, he is at the best club to do it.

 

There's a few of us thinking this now, quietly contemplating what may well happen. I guess the next four weeks will be a massive clue. I've not been impressed with Krueger though, a man of many words, but no strong actions. I hope I'm wrong about him, but his task is becoming more apparent each day. The uncertainty is encouraging interest from other clubs.

Except Pochettino has confirmed that he wants to stay in the Premier League. The one thing he has been definitve about. And, as other have said, where elase would be have such high quality young players to mould?
