However, if you look at the support levels that they have, the potential size of the local audience, the potential for local, regional as well as national sponsors and then the ground facilities that they have then I truly believe that a £300 million investment could well be made to pay.

Now Lerner will walk away hurting, but probably satisfied that he wasn't going to keep losing. Whereas a new investor may see benefits in 2-3 years paper loses whilst building up the value.

 

mai i offer the curious case of the double winning anchelotti and champions league winning di matteo. in both cases the EGOs at chelsea got successful managers the sack, never mind the avb and grants.
