The most expensively assembled team should win the league, so anything less is a failure to be honest - a bit like second most expensive team coming third and winning **** all. Fair play to City fans, they've had decades in the doldrums having to put up with Utd fans, so I'm pleased for them, but overall no this is not a victory with any real substance. There's been very little development of any of their own players, they have simply gone out and bought the best players and assembled the best squad at huge cost. It's not like they've even earned the money either, they have simply been fortunate enough to have a mega-rich benefactor pumping in his own vast wealth

the points don't lie so its a genuine win. i like City fans as they seem to not be able to believe their luck, and aren't all arrogant arseholes like most Manure fans. city owner seems less hands on than Chavski owner. their manager seems like a nice guy who doesn't seem to have bad word about any refs or other managers, and seems to actually respect his peers. which is poles apart from the **** in charge at Chavski. city win does show that if you have the biggest and best squad to choose from then you are likely to get the best team. lesson for Arsenal is to add to squad and buy the best that is available, and not sell best players to rivals.

City or Chelsea winning anything just makes the football world roll thier eyes. I recognize the title win but i dont respect it and the amount of money they have spent without earning it through well run business structure. Will city fans care? Not really the fans are as much to blame as the owners these days. Think about it like this. City could afford the team they have and play in an empty stadium every week without champions league football and still be financially superior. Is that the future of football? Jesus, anything you can cling to. Your mistake is thinking that fans of City and Chelsea care or want your respect. Teams spending lots of money to win the title has been happening since the 70's. And dont give me all that "but its money they earnt" bollocks either. I wouldnt call what Man Utd or Liverpool did in the 80's and 90's "earning" their money. Liverpool were backed by Pools money and United exploited commercial avenues in the Far East and the stock market. I will concede that City and Chelsea were shortcut to prominence and were extremely lucky. But you are sounding completely bitter about it lol. Perhaps when Arsenal finally win a trophy you can attempt to Lord it over the other teams with your "earnt" money,
I just hope we never go 25 years without winning a trophy and suffer numerous relegations during the wait
