I've travelled quite a few miles to watch them over the years , but after the rubbish we've been served up this last season I just don't think it's worth it.

I might take an odd game in for a booster, but to go to every game is going to be too much I think. Our overrated, overpaid prima donnas don't deserve supporting.

You could be right and a non reckless Tiote is a very good player

 

Heard from a few fans who are waiting to see what happens and how we are doing in January before making a decision about season ticket renewal in February, like me they are on 10 year deal.

 

Tavernier, Gosling, Vuckic, Shola, Marveaux, Obertan, Ben Arfa, Abeid and Jonas will all go with the clubs blessing.

One of Krul & Debuchy will be sold due to an offer too good to turn down.

 

The best way to consider how many will leave is to look at it from a squad perspective. I'd be willing to bet good money that "I beg your Pardew" is going with 5-4-1 in the new season as our main way of playing, with good ol' 4-4-2 as backup. I think him being 'burned' by relying 99% on Cabaye won't happen again and he'll revert back to being a hardworking team with pace on the counter. Plus that means we don't quite need the two or three cf's originally thought. That seems to be his only way of playing. With that in mind, he'll want a squad with decent enough backup.

I reckon they bring Abeid back into the fold. He has done alright this season in Greece. Got to be at least worth being kept as back to any replacement for Cabaye. That is the mistake we made last year anyway, we only had Cabaye and no back up (of course he is likely to be Cabayes actual replacement )

 

Yeah he's got something like 10 goals and 10 assists this season. I just think the thought of 1-2 million for a player that cost a pittance will be too much of a tempter for Mike.
