That's great to hear! I'm going to have to see if I can find a repeat of the game somewhere I think... I'd love to watch it back. It was a really special atmosphere, and I can't imagine the players would've shown the determination they did without it.

I notice Flyer hasn't been on tonight. Probably has gone home and locked himself into a dark room for the next fortnight

I wasn't old enough to get myself to the Oldham game unfortunately, I'd love to know how other people think it compared though!

I was thinking the same! The unity at the game in stark contrast the moaners early in this thread

Up until their goal it was alot like the Oldham game, it was a little flat for a while after that but we got back into it. Once the pen was scored it was a fantasic atmosphere, like Oldham or even better, if only it could be like that every week!!

My ears are literally still ringing, it feels like I've been to a sepultura concert.

That whistling at the end was deafening.

Ears still hurt and can't sleep. Not quite Oldham if you ask me, but almost...

Congrats ... being my tip to win the play-offs doesn't appear to have hindered you <laugh> ... would love to know how Footspa and Flyer saw the penalty incident, given their rather forthright views on such things <laugh> ... is there just a 'hint' of Junior 'in flight' before any actual contact is made? <whistle>... good luck in the final.

Oh **** off Dave!! I'm done with your bollocks!
Just read through this thread this morning, after waking up with no voice whatsoever. Some of you really need to have a word with yourselves.

Some of the comments were frankly embarrassing!

Firstly............the atmosphere. Unbelievable!! So loud and we kept behind the team right through (unlike some on here!).

Wigan were good on the ball and very well organised. However, Rangers chose this game to play some of their best football of the season imo. The criticism of Hoilett I just find bewildering. He absolutely ran his bollocks off.....up and down the pitch, was our main attacking outlet and earned the penalty with a great one-two with BZ. They were ****-scared of Hoilett's pace.
Zamora came on and changed the game . Superb cameo. Yun looks a very, very good player and well done to Harry for bringing him on.

For me, Barton played his best game ever for us last night and was my clear MOTM. He was everywhere and hardly gave the ball away as he drove the side forward.
2nd half we were absolutely battering them. If it hadn't been for Carson we would have been well clear.
Fantastic finish by Charlie for the winner and trust me, when that went in, the roof nearly lifted off the old place.

Special mentions for Ned and Dunne who were both magnificent last night. And Green who kept us in it at 0-1.
And a very special mention for the fans...........we were ****ing awesome and willed the team to that victory. It was probably our best performance of the season when it mattered most........Dave........you're on something mate!

    URRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssss!!

Agreed. I've been his biggest critic, but he was immense last night. A real warrior!

What a night, great result, unbelievable atmosphere.

Some real Rangers on the pitch, gave it their all.

I thought the ref did exceptionally well, a couple of key decisions, least of all diving Wigan and the critical penalty.

    Looking forward to Wembley.
