Both games against Portsmouth (17th Dec @ Fratton Park, 7th Apr @ St Mary's) have been changed to 1pm kick-offs after consultation with the police. Will this help to prevent trouble? Surely it just means we get to beat them two hours earlier. COYR.

So the last time you beat us at Fratton Park was in 1984 in the cup and I was there. I remember the game very well ,Alan Biley should have scored at least twice before your lucky last minute goal from Steve Moron against the run of play. Still you always were lucky scummers. Recent matches and history have of course restored the natural order, with Pompey ruling supreme with all bragging rights.
two 4-1 thrashings since then one of which was in your own backyard, except of course we did not play in Southend! I wonder how long it will be before you go back to supporting Chelsea, probably 1st October when you only have 6 or 7 points and are favorites for the drop!
Why are you bringing Southend into it? I find it hard to believe you of all people are targeting someone who doesn't live locally to their club, when you in fact live locally and still do not attend. Can't be blamed though I suppose.
Actually, my father used to watch players like Duggie Reed backheel a ball from one wing to the other at Fratton! Too long ago for me though but it was of course consecutive seasons around 1949. But then you have never won the title in your 125 year history have you? It must wrangle a bit that we have, and are better than you. I was introduced to Pompey in the 1960's with players like John Milkins in goal. and have followed them across the Country and Europe since then , unlike you nippers!.
