Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is a surprisingly good film.

 

[nsfw]I think Dany is taking an interesting turn - she seems to be losing control. She's mistakenly punishing people who didn't deserve it, and I think being overly generous to the guy whose goats were eaten might be a sign that this generosity will also come back to bite her in the arse. She's trying to please everyone and she's making a meal of it. Setting unrealistic standards for herself, basically, and appearing inconsistent.

I am tempted to believe that there's more to the Shae thing than we've seen, as I can't imagine her being that spiteful.[/nsfw]

[nsfw]It's not like Bran levels of boring but considering the outright badassery of her and her storyline until now, the whole delicate balancing of power and whatnot isn't quite as enthralling. I'm sure it'll all lead somewhere cool I just haven't really been feeling it in the last couple of episodes.

Then again, everything pales in comparison to how awesome the Tyrion ending was, really one of those moments where I simply cannot wait for the next episode.[/nsfw]

 

Is it wrong that I always read the GoT spoilers on here but have yet to watch an episode?

I'd say you're ruining it for yourself, but it's so damn complex you'll probably have forgotten everything we've said by the time you come to watching it.

 

Yeah, I've seen a couple of book spoilers here and there but have managed to just bury them deep enough where they get lost in the mayhem of the series, it's got such a wide scope with such a deep plot that you forget things that you've actually seen happen let alone read about in passing. Obviously there's some significant events that shall not be referred to that you won't forget but other than that it all just blends together.

 

I need to try getting into GoT again. Would be a lot easier if I could watch on TV rather than some dodgy streaming site with a 2 inch picture.

 

That's good to know, got a quiet week coming up soon so think I'll get started then. I've done the same thing for Breaking Bad so should probably get round to watching that as well.
