Despite this he has publicly stated before that its not a cup he goes for or has any desire to win and that a top 4 finish is the only benchmark by which his success should be tested. (hence why the whole top 4 trophy jokes started). Maybe nigh on 10 years with no trophies has changed his opinion.
Total load of bollocks. At no point has he said he has no desire to win any trophies and that top 4 is the only benchmark to judge him by. Absolute nonsense mate. Just because he has brought up how important achieving top 4 is does not mean he somehow hates trophies. Top 4 is important for the big clubs, it's simple, he has just said what others already know.
Not trophies.......the FA and Capital One cups. Seem to remember him saying that top 4 is where its at and that the FA Cup is at the bottom of his priority list.
He made comments to the effect that the champions league has become so important to clubs due to the financial muscle it grants that it has become like another trophy. Since then he has just been abused with that line lol, he has never come out and said he doesn't want to win the other two domestic cups.
Yeah its a habit of football fans to jump on something a manager says and make a huge deal out of it and not let it die a death (looks at the thread title)
Maureen is a Cock though, even the die hard chelsea fans must admit that. When he's winning he's full of arrogant quips and 'I'm off to phone my wife' nonchalance, but if he loses he's a like a ****ing teenage girl on her period, whining about the most dumb things, whether it's the ball boys, the schedule, the exact same tactics that he uses, the ****ing direction of the wind ... blaming anything and everybody else for his own failings. He's a classic case of somebody who has their head so firmly up their own arse, that they can't see their own faults. The media lap up his bizarre behaviour because it sells rags, Maureen gives them the fodder they want, but the subtext is that the public are taking the piss out of him when he goes off on one.
i cant see him getting sacked , he will probably cry off , citing personal differences , just to save face.
Funny stuff. Q & A with Mourinho. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...urinho-taunted-during-twitter-qa-9386615.html Mourinho accused West Ham of deploying '19th Century tactics' when they drew 0-0 in west London earlier this season, but he soon adopted negative tactics for matches against title rivals. And so Hiten Patel tweeted: "If you had to choose between playing beautiful football and parking the bus, how many drivers would you hire?"
"If you had to choose between playing beautiful football and parking the bus, how many drivers would you hire?" Brilliant comment, just brilliant...
Not really. If we lose Wenger pretty much comes out and says we weren't good enough. The special needs one though is a case all of his own and I'm counting the amount of ball boys that have been abused here
