Ok so we have 5 possibles for England. That's not too bad 'cos they wo't be there long!

Then we have Suarez with Uruguay, Ming with Belgium. Does anybody know if Sakho is in the French squad? If you add Flanno to that and maybe Lalllana then we've got nearly a team going!!!

actually as a moot point but how would people feel about a player outside say gerrard wearing (6 like this? I think its kind of bad taste.

Club wouldn't allow it anyway - but yeah maybe Gerrard on the anniversary only or something like that would be ok

The only other English rb's that i can think of are Clyne, Richards, Jenkingson and Lowton. I would probably take Clyne!

First posted edited. A few questionable ones. Welbeck, Smalling.

only surprise is Forster as third keeper.

Still think there must be better centre backs than Smalling, Curtis Davis for a start

I see Carrick and Cleverley made the stand by list, both awful.

Nice to see Stones and Flanno on the stand by list as well. Carroll is on it in case Lambert gets injured, when things get desperate Roy will always revert to the long ball to the big English centre forward

Why does Welbeck suprise you ?

It's not brilliant but he offers something different and it's not like we're spoilt for choice. Who would you have instead of him ? Carroll, Defoe ?

Easily Welbeck for me, as backup <ok>

  13. Obviously, that number has significance to the club but its also just a number. No one complained about Bellamy wearing the number 39. The difference is, players wearing a number in the thirties isn't out of the ordinary whereas in the nineties is.

  14. I think Welbeck playing makes Man Utd a much better team because he offers a lot more movement than others you have. However, for England, Sturridge is a better option. Is there room for both? Maybe Sterling could be a second option?

Wellbeck is a waste of space! Promises so much and delivers next to nothing and that's why he's a waste of space. Hasn't improved any aspect of his 'game' and there's another reason why he's a waste of space.

I'm not surprised, I'm just not sure I agree with it. He is inconsistent and doesnt score enough goals. I'd say Walcott if he was fit, and Rodriguez. Defoe offers more of a goal threat. He's not a bad player though.

If Walcott or Rodriguez were fit then they might have gone instead of him but it would have been close. Probably Walcott instead of Welbeck <ok>

I'd take Welback over Defoe ever time though.

    100% agree. Too good for a mid-table, not-in-Europe team.
