Cheers Nines, excellent job as always. Thanks for the videos, just felt the nerves even more after the Welcome to Loftus Road video. Tonight will be hell but it is this we live for as supporters. Going to try and get my mind away from it for a few hours before kick off with a workout of Floorball with some mates.
No worries mate. It doesn't matter what you do though. Tonight's match and all of it's potential consequences will drift in and out of your conciousness. You can't escape it I'm afraid.
40 mins until I leave, I have a feeling we will be there a full 2 hours before ko as my mate wanted to be totally sure we got there on time. I'm feeling OK but I'm sure that will change when then players come out and if someone scores.
Starting the pre match drinks on the balcony in kos baked in sun! The mrs has agreed to come to a sports bar with me to watch the match but it's gonna cost me a lobster first!! Ouch!! Can't wait and finding some other r's out here will be a bonus!
I hope you have a great evening 74. Due to the time difference you should be well tanked up by then. Unlike the poor lobster!
You're not wrong nines! Being tipsy was the other part of the deal. I think she's going to stretch this as far as she can!
I remember a GF doing that, she agreed to go to a game if should could drag me around shopping for hours. She then said the match was the best part of the day! I would have been mad but we won 3-0.
the rest look happy...I hope they are at 10pm tonight..or a bit later ...I hope they are and we are all happy at midnight (covers all eventualities)
I'm all done with work now. Have collected the eldest Son from work and I'm off to get the younger one from school soon. Then he gets changed at his Mum's, we come back to mine for the older Son and Mrs Rangercol(she's hitting Westfield!!) and set off hopefully around 4pm. Allowing plenty of time for traffic and unforeseens. Then we'll grab some food and head to the C&S. Christ but I'm getting a bit nervous now!! Come on URRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssss!!
Guys, don't worry. As good as Derby have looked, we have a quality team and we will match them. I'm feeling quite confident about tonight and I recon we can give Derby a run for their money, especially in front of thousands of Rs fans.
I am not worried about Derby (yet). I am worried about tonight's game. After Friday night though I think we are the better team. If only we could be more creative and score more goals.
I'm worried about Hill and Dunne. The ref will pounce on the slightest opportunity to punish Hill for 'getting away' with it on Friday, and Wigan will see to it that he is given all the help he needs to do so. Dunne really shouldn't be playing two games in four days, but I expect he will. Just hope it will be alright on the night. Despite my reservations I think it will.
GC...you are so right on all fronts Hill will be victimized, Dunne cannot play twice in 4 days, fear Arry may be right about YSY being too inexperienced to play in such a high profile game (whose fault is that....no wrong Beth, stay away from negativity!). Fear Ravel is pissed of with us, fear Junior is injured I feel awful, but packing up now. see you in C&S about 6.15, but getting to ground earlish...to soak up the atmosphere Come on uRRRRRs, we can do it...PLEASE
I am now starting to tidy up offices items for the close of the work day. I admit it was not one of my most productive days. For those going to match, I envy you, and please give a cheer for us overseas R's. I will be there in spirit and am truely looking forward to the match. Have fun wherever you may be! COYR's!!!
