You'd soon realise how bad they were if they had decent players around them. They wouldn't get within a mile of a good team imo
Fair enough Eire. Will be interesting to see who we actually gt and who we finally do decide to let go.
I know we're only talking about the 2nd best side in Yorkshire who will be in Europe next year regardless of the result and yes I know they're currently above us, but wil we be cheering on Hull on Saturday or the Arse?
Morning All, TBH, I have no idea who'll be kept. Knowing BM, he might be considering Paddy as a midfield general. Who knows? Seriously, I think finance is going to play a greater part than anyone's mentioned so far. By that I mean that no-one will be released. Cellino won't want to pay anyone off, without return. I think anyone who's still got a contract will be retained and used as squad players. Unless of course someone is daft enough to take them off our hands, or the players see sense & take a reasonable percentage payoff. Would still like to see Brown +/or Pugh retained. hopefully we can work something out with them. Brown was on a low rate anyway - remember the standoff with Warnock?
You and me both MTMB. If for no other reason than to p*ss of my Arsenal mate. Loud choruses of "sacked in the morning..." of Hull do win.
Lees certainly isn't crap. Hardly Gerard Pique, granted, but he seems to get the blame for any mistake made in defence whether it was his fault or not. If Brown is willing to play for pittance, maybe a "pay as you play" style deal, I'd keep him on.
I'll be backing Hull for the Yorkshire connection, and I'm really interested to see if Arsenal actually have the balls to sack Wenger if he doesn't deliver this trophy
They actually did quite well this season - injuries aside. But they do seem to get more than their fair share of injuries to key players every single season. Something has to be amiss there surely? They have a manager who consistently delivers Champions League football I guess.
If we were in the final (I realise that requires some suspension of disbelief), how many hull fans would support us? Its a tricky one, because I have nothing against them, they're yorkshire, they're the underdog... But you know they wouldn't be supporting us. Think I'll maintain a dignified position on the fence.
We are a far bigger club and are significant to them so they wouldn't support us. They are pretty irreleavant to us tho so we can support them
