Anyone could have mocked that up, and whoever told you a deal was already done is lying, I can assure you.

 

She wants to cash in because the amount of money it would take for us to move to the next level, cortese wanted to spend, but she doesnt. That's why he's gone. And that's why phrases like "we will try our hardest to keep our best players" are being thrown around instead if corteses straight nos. Along with all this twisting of accounts to justify selling to the fans.
