They bought him for £17m and he's progressed with each passing season. I think Chelsea will want more than that, I reckon they'll be looking for around the £30m IF they don't plan to keep him. Mourinho may not be the manager yet...

1. I think mourinho's got enough in the position already

2. but if we just look at the job mourinho did with liuz until he got the paleyr he did want (matic) and how he transformed hazard into a real team player.. i think barkely would be managed just fine

anyway... i personally don't buy the press talk on lukaku that mourinhos got his name down on the list as someone coming in... i think the boy jumped ship and mourinho won't forgive it. i think he will be sold if the right forward presents himself. i do think ba and torres will go first though.

 

funny you say that but didn't in the old days clubs change hands for £1 on paper. didn't Southampton go for that once?

i know a rock or something has sold for that before as the upkeep for it was something like a couple of mill a year, not sure about a football club though, maybe same principal.

The paid £10m plus add ons, that could total £17m - but given he's barely played for them I doubt many of those clauses have been hit.

He's only got 2 years left on his contract, so if they're going to cash in, it has to be this summer.
