What truth? You haven't presented any truth.

Do you not have any knowledge about things that happened before you were born?

You are the typical ignorant Brit when it comes to Ireland Dev.

Well i'm in good company CA, plenty of real ignorance being displayed here on this thread. The thing is i'm unambiguous when I give my view (based on actual experience mind you), there were many many abhorrent crimes committed on both sides, the problem is some of the people on one of those sides will never admit they may just have overstepped the mark, like murdering a woman with a bullet to the skull based upon nothing but a whispering campaign. It's like the Salem witch trials except no one got a trial before they were offed.

What experience have you got? You were very much part of the problem and a large factor in the thousands of deaths that occurred in my country yet you will lecture others, those at the receiving end no less.

The fact is that it was not a whispering campaign. The dogs in the street know it, the woman even received the benefit of a warning.

The Police Ombudsman in NI has stated that there is Zero evidence of Jean McConville being any sort of informer.

What's she missed that everyone else knows as a fact? If she was being paid or was "On the books" it would have come out, it never has. Her kids, her family say she was no tout so who to believe, the people who killed her or her own family and the Police?

I served in bandit country in the 70's and we had no one - least of all a widowed mother of 10 -providing us with information of any sort. What could they tell us that would have been of any value? Nothing.

The IRA ****ed up, that's the bottom line, and all the blame shifting in the world does not change it.

You tell him Keyrung . A free thinking man like yourself would have no truck with anybody who played a major role in thousands of deaths that occurred in your country .

Think of it sensibly, if she was an informant why would it still be covered up? To make the murderers seem any more eveil than they already appear? Makes no sense at all. It's not as if her being a tout would somehow make the murder any more palatable to the general public.

We'll never agree so let's just agree to disagree.

Fisk absolutely hates Britain, the US., and the West. He blames every atrocity, everywhere in the world, on UK foreign policy failures, real and imagined. He's so full of English upper middle class self loathing that he even blamed himself when he got beaten by a mob in Iraq.

    Just saying.
