Just my view, but I don't think Tim Sherwood deserves this treatment: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27340728 He's got Spurs to probably one place below where they could realistically hope to be, given their scattered, talented squad. He was also responsible for the resumption in Adebayor's career. They could do a lot worse than stick with him, though with the talk that has surrounded him, he's probably mortally crippled there.
I watched his presser earlier and it was shocking. He said that his players are telling him that their agents have been told he won't be there next season. I don't like Spurs anyway, but this is getting embarrassing.
Spurs have always been embarassing. Joe Lewis, their owner, heard some "interesting" stories about him. Then there is Daniel Levy, who even manages to out-creep & out-smug Rupert Lowe, and that is saying something. Least we forget Levy just happening to be in South Africa at the same time as Hoddle when he gave the Saints team the week off. I've met fans of most clubs up and down the country and its fair to say, I've never met a Spurs fan that I've liked. Can't bring myself to feel sorry for Sherwood though, he's a tosser, which is why he got the job in the first place.
Van Wolfswinkel just turned up to Carrow Road, Neil Adams gave his team sheet and RvW then left the stadium and drove off. Odd.
I was expecting more of him to be honest...as were their fans to be honest. To think I was even a little envious when they signed him. To go home because he wasn't on the team sheet (unless sick) tells us all we need to know about him.
We were worrying about staying above Toon, they didn't even make 9th, Pardew will have his work cut out to keep the job at this rate.
