Just to let anyone know who hasn't got any yet that I'm going from Manc to Euston & got them today for £12.50 single each way on www.thetrainline.com. Yes they're specific trains but I've given myself a bit of time so should be ok, coming back the next day. Don't know if there'll be something similar from Hull, but may be worth a look.

Mine first game too, I put it there to remind me of where we were when I started going, so if we lose & I'm pissed off then I'll see it & realise how far we've come since. Also because I can never remember between that & the Bury game, which we also lost, was my first game.
Think I can safely say there will be no such bargains going from Hull to London. Everywhere you go from Hull cost more than anywhere else. Last time my son came from Edinburgh he got the train to York and we picked him up there.
I booked train tickets before match tickets went on sale. Crewe - Euston return £23. Just got to butter up the Mrs to get us to, & pick us up from Crewe. Sounds easy??
