You think that we will accept the opening bid on a player that is under contract and is likely to be going to the World Cup and is still only 18? You seem a little simple to me
So why bid £27m when it should be £40m plus. Obviously spent too much already and we know you are a selling club!
Even assuming we're resigned to him leaving, do you honestly think that with several clubs reported to be interested (including Shaw's mega-rich childhood team Chelsea) we'll just accept the first bid anyone makes?
Looks like I've found the first name on my ignore list for the summer Well, football anyway. I blocked a ****** from the F1 board who acts like Lewis Hamilton murdered his children.
Why on earth would we accept the first bid that comes in? If you bid £27million first then we could take the price well past £30mill, maybe past £40mill.
Genuinely don't think 27m is enough, both Chelsea and United need to replace an ageing left back, and Shaw's a player that would improve any top 6 team in the long term and with more of the top teams needing home grown players I think there'll be enough interest for at least 30m.
We would need to replace Shaw if he goes, therefore we need another good replacement and we would want a good profit too.
Saintjoey ITK before Man Utd were even credited to have an interest and everybody else was convinced he'd signed for Chelsea? Thanks. On a serious note, I can reveal my source as soon as it goes through (which everyone still expects it to) although I heavilly inferred who it was previously...
Hard to know if you're joking or not given all the conjecture on here at the mo! But unfortunately I've never had an "in" with the Don
