I'm with KIO - doesn't fill me with excitement, but more than happy to be proved completely wrong.

IMO, of even greater importance is who wants to stay and who wants to leave. Snoddy I find infuriating most of the time, as he wants to almost 'walk the ball into goal' instead of crossing it. We need a Fox type player who can pick a pass, but can also defend!!!

Midfield creativity has been our problem all season, and that's still going to need to be addressed for a successful season in the championship. I can't make my mind up whether it's going to be an easier problem to solve as we'll see more of the ball, and defending will be weaker, or the smaller transfer budget is going to make it harder to bring in the players needed to make a difference.

Neil Lennon's name is doing the rounds tonight, but I highly doubt there's any credibility in it as Talksports moose said it.

In all seriouness, what has neil lennon actually achieved apart from winning a one team league. With celtic he should have been doing the triple every season.

Surely Adams must get a decent chance before you get rid of him....you can't blame him for going down and not many managers could have done any better in the five games he had...

Malky seems best option for me. We need a no nonsense young manager who wants to suceed. He made impacts at both watford and cardiff. Everyone is also moaning about his negative style of play? Who actually knows our style of play? I personally dont care how we play asling as we get results! Malky is a club legend, a proven winner and i think this will be a great appointment. OTBC

I´m a lot happier with him, if it is him, than I would have been with Adams, but would have preferred someone with no close connections to the Club, but beggars can´t be choosers.

I'd personally be happier with Zola. Not sure he's got all the skills needed for a good manager, but at least he would put some passion back into the club. Despite the weekly statement this season from one of the players promising that they CARE, the overall feeling has been that they haven't given a toss. We've gone down (rather than WBA or West Ham or any of the other dross down there) because we totally lacked team spirit (for whatever reason). That's what we need first of all, and if we don't get that, I think we'll do a Wolves.

its called a 'winning mentality'. and to be fair, he has got something about him that makes me think he'd be a decent appointment.

irrelevant though as it'll be malky <ok>
