Well, if we must, then hold out till after the World Cup for a whole lot more please (I think he's going to Brazil). Has anyone from any club said anything to confirm this, or is it Sky Sports Guesswork presented by Jim ****e?
Well if he is going to go, lets screw the bastards for every last penny. If 27m is their opening offer, it could go a lot higher yet. #weholdallthecards EDIT: he was absolutely superb today, he could be worth a lot more in the future.
Yeah that really didn't take long. No matter who leaves (or doesn't leave) I think this is going to feel like a long summer.
Again, the info broken by who? Not a national newspaper journalist or the like, not even Manchester news correspondents. Jim White.
If this is true, and it's a first bid then we should be able to screw them for a bit more first. A hefty sell on clause would be a good idea for when he decides he wants champions league football in a few years.
Peach says he is trying to find out if this is true. From what he's been told, Saints would still be demanding more before they'd consider selling him.
I don't understand how they are making a bid without a manager. Unless they've already discussed it with Van Haal (presuming he's the next boss). I think they'd at least wait until the new man is in place before they start bidding for players.
