If I had he willpower, and the ability to avoid the forum, radio, tv and anyone who liks football, I'd hide for 3 months, read loads of books, do some useful things, and hopefully come back smiling.
Kruger on the radio doing an interview at 5:45. Should be worth a listen. Hopefully something to be cheerful about.
Think it shows our progress this season that the main sentiment after a 1-1 draw with Man United with us without our main goal threat is that of disappointment. I've been thinking about that thread a while back, discussing whether this season was a success or a failure, I said at the time that it was clearly a success with little bits of failure along the way. Now my feeling is that it's a success providing it is not the highest rung of ladder we reach, but if it is then it is ultimately a failure of our potential.
Exactly, he will always love the club, it's just a question of whether or not he wants to move to a higher level now.
Rickie Lambert: "It's 50/50. I'm confident I'll make the thirty, but I'm not sure about the final twenty-three."
Mauricio Pochettino on BBC Radio Solent: "They scored a great goal. I thought we deserved a bit more judging by how we played." "This is not so important when we consider what a great season we've had and how much we have enjoyed the season." "It's my second lap of honour. It's something you enjoy. The supporters have been amazing, thank you." "I think we are coming to the end of the five-year plan, where we jumped from League One to Premier League top ten." "Now, after tonight's celebrations, we start to talk about the next project." "Tomorrow we shall sit down to talk and define everything." "We shouldn't forget that I still have one year left. It's only normal that I should sit down with the club." "We will talk about the future and the way forward for the football club."
Sounds pretty positive to me. All it needs is for Kreuger to say he wants to keep moving and improving and I think we're sorted. Damn, that was easy, maybe I should be chairman.
