*serious post*

Unlucky this season. Me and others can laugh and point out you failed to win the title but the reality is we never expected liverpool to have a chance.

Few weeks ago i thought you would so im sure you understand i am enjoying your collapse but no doubt you were very good.

To next season

*end of serious post*

Ha you failed :bandit:

Another great achievement this season is the complete shattering of Man Utd's big club status.

Rats fleeing the ship, no manager, and fans who hardly turn up any more and when they do they talk more about Gerrard than any of their own players.

I think Southampton will push them much harder in next season's fight for 7th if they can get their manager situation sorted.

Any bookie offering odds on Newcastle being relegated yet?

<cheers>

Great season, a lot better than we all expected. Let's hope we can build on this and improve the squad for next year when we have CL football and will only be seeded 32nd I believe.

Best part is we should be able to attract better quality players now we are in the CL.

At the start of the season I would have been happy with top 4, to be challenging for the title was not even on the horizon as far as I was concerned.

With my daughters wedding yesterday and a win today (albeit not a great game), it's been a good weekend. Day off work tomorrow as well. The future is bright, the future is Brendan.

We missed out on the away league title in the end :(

Also imagine hiding away after experiencing the past 20 years as a united fan. Have to be a sad desperate person.

Absolutely BUT we will need to bring in some very very good players for next season. Lucas/ Johnson/ Allen / are definately not good enough. We need some wide pacey winger for when teams defend deep. We improved dramatically once courthino came on and sterling was pushed wide.
Llalana would be a good signing but a DM and two defenders are a must.

Manager reaction

Cardiff 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho on the future of Fernando Torres: "Yes he's in my plans (for next season). He's a good player. He's not the kind of guy who will score goal after goal but the way he works and moves he contributes to the team. He's a player I like

not with you as manager you muppet

You all know we will be back. Its a wide open league though so even a good season isnt enough to get top 4 these days.

You can but Moses and cissokho will surely not be signed and the others are not first team players. I was really referring to replacing players who have appeared regularly as BR has stated he only wants to sign first team players

You will be back. But not next year

20. Moses and Cissokho may have been here on loan but they have still be important parts of the squad that will need replacing, preferably with players that can actually play <laugh>
