Both teams cautious and not really troubled. As expected. Snodgrass and Ruddy have been up for it though
You have to feel that the absentees today (Fer, Hooper, RvW, etc) suggests that none of these will be around next year. What went wrong with all these new guys? Was there an old guys clique who wouldn't let them in? Or didn't they have the stomach for a bottom half Premiership battle? What an awful waste this season has been. I thought I wouldn't care today, but I find I feel worse than ever. There is so much dross in this league and somehow we have managed to be worse than most of them.
Seeing teams like Sunderland and West Brom losing makes it even more depressing that we couldn't take the fight into the final day. Of course they're safe now so maybe taken their foot off the gas now, but still a shame.
If there was ever going to be some players that would give all they have, it was always going to be these two, and we need to keep both for next season
Go and drown your sorrows tonight, and find a massage parlour with extra's tomorrow and you will feel a whole lot better mate btw, where are you? Hanoi by any chance?
Sorry, but I disagree with you again, Thai. Personally I will be very happy to see Snodgrass go if we can get 7 or 8 million for him. He works hard, but he totally unbalances the team in my opinion. I'd much rather go with E Bennett (don't tell Carrabuh!) He's not flashy but he works for the team rather than himself.
I don't mind, life (away from football) is good here I would like to see Snoddy in a more central role, just to see what he can do, as I think he could grab a bucket load in the Championship
A central role, possibly, yes. Or if we totally change our style and become a team who try to attack rather than sit back. But trying to be a team who sits back, gives the opposition the ball, and hopes to counter-attack and then funnels everything through a player who has absolutely no pace at all has been one of the reasons we have scored 28 goals this season.
Nail on head, we have to get away from this counter attacking stuff next season. With the players we will have, and hopefully should be able to get, we should be taking games to our opponents at that level.
Possibly. Town can have both for £13 million......oh wait, you ain't got that sort of money have you
