I think Rodgers got this one slightly wrong a well. Newcastle were always going to sit back, men behind the ball and that mean there'd be no space for Sterling to run with the ball in the middle which is what he needs. Coutinho is better in those tight areas to move the ball and find those little passes. Should have played in this game
We can't string more than three passes together unless it is across the back 4. Whenever we try and go forwards the passing is not accurate enough or over hit.Bring Aspas on!
