really want a draw from this one... our form going into the final is nothing short of shocking. Not just the results we've had since the beginning of March but the performances have been awful. As said above, a point would put us 14th, a win possibly 13th... come on city ffs, who would have thought so many teams that were struggling would finish higher than us..
this game is screaming out for Long, don't get it. Cup tied but yet we put a 6-7 million striker on the bench (our best striker). I know he wants to give aluko game time but why not have jelly and long up front with aluko behind, look at what they did at fulham!
Very worrying that we can be strong at the back ALL season, until we qualify for the FA Cup Final? Since the Sheffield game we've looked a different team.. Can only blame bruce really for the way he's handled it. I think he said himself that he's failed to keep the players focussed on the league. Bruce's tactics and player choices have been questionable as of late too...
well I think any 1 calling for davies to be in the wc squad should now understand why that is a laughable thought?? all in all though this has been a wonderful season 17th survival and an fa cup final!!! we have been spoilt, well done all the lads!!
I think that since we're already safe, we haven't got anything to play for... Therefore, SB has one eye on next season.
